Queer Film Club

On the second Tuesday of each month Lewis picks a film that has a LGBTQI theme. We watch the film on a 75″ screen with surround sound and comfortable chairs, floor cushions and back jacks to relax on.

The film is a surprise on the night so, even if you have seen it before, this is a great opportunity for young and old to share and talk about some of our often untold queer stories. After the movie we put our best David and Margret film critic hats on and share our thoughts and feelings. Suggestions are always welcome but the surprise element seems to work with everyone and has stimulated some great discussion.

$15 covers tea, coffee, light snacks and use of venue. You are welcome to BYO wine and food. Often people choose to order either dumplings or pizza from next door to eat before the movie. We generally start the movie from 7.30 (no admittance after 7.15). its a relaxed and chilled evening and you certainly don’t need to be a movie buff!
