Stretch, Mobility, Breath – Sydney

This class is designed to get all your body parts sliding and gliding again. You will experience joint mobilization exercises designed for deeper range of motion, and soothing moving meditation sequences to calm the nervous system.
Each joint structure is warmed up via their range of motion, followed by gentle flowing movement sequences, complimented by a gentle warm down designed to increase your muscle length and function.
All the above is tied together with mindful breathing exercises, wrapped up in a message of queer self-care and self-love.
Each month we will explore and focus on a different body part.

Mathew is studying Gestalt Therapy, he is also an embodiment councillor and workshop facilitator. He specialises in queer sound healing events and workshops and men’s relaxation utilising, sound, meditation, breath work, bodywork, visualisation, yoga and narration therapy.
Mathew has been teaching yoga since 2000 through his own teacher training academy, Dancing Warrior Yoga.
Mathew chooses to nurture the heartfelt needs of men, guiding them to a deeper understanding of their soulful self in order to have more agency in the world at large.
